As
a composer of original music, Boggess' musical styles are diverse... including:
rock, pop, R & B,
country, dance, electronic music, sound sculptures, orchestral scoring, jazz
and gospel music.
Gary uses the most current MIDI sequencing software, along with an arsenal
of MIDI keyboard samplers,
synthesizers and drum modules. Boggess has years of experience using keyboard
synths, and has
developed skills to create natural sounding performances... not synthetic
dribble. Be it jazz, rock or
symphonic scoring, his MIDI music pleases the ear. In fact, after a
recorded presentation of his
orchestral theme, "Butterfly Girl," written for the Fremont Street Experience
in Las Vegas,
the president of the musician's union made the remark; "it's nice to hear
live music at
an event like this." Whoot!
The studio is host to a wide range of instruments, spanning the last 35 years.
BMS has it all, from analog
synths, like the modular Polyfusion 2000 and the MiniMoog of the '70's...
to the current state-of-the-art
samplers like Emu's e6400 Ultra & e4X Turbo. It's doubtful there's an
instrument we don't have in one our
(16) keyboard modules. We've got vintage organs and keyboards, hundreds of
drums and percussion,
thousands of synths and pop sounds, and a virtual warehouse of orchestral
instruments.
BMS
has
61
VSTi realtime software
instruments, which are directly accessed
via our
standard MIDI hardware system. The combination of these two
schools
of music generation is literally out of this world.
Current BMS demos prove that Gary creates and produces music that translates
into most any
genre or medium. He produces complete music jingle packages, radio
and TV commercials,
and signature music for corporate logos.

BMS
uses MTU's
MicroSound
DAW
hard disk system for recording and production. Recently
upgraded,
this all digital system
has
over
512+ simultaneous
tracks,
(and
they're not virtual). Microsound's
Krystal DSP card is always processing and mixing at 24-bit samples with
54-bit accumulators,
with proprirtary algorithms to covert back to 16 or 24 bits. The external
A/D converters are superb with
a S/N at -110db averaged across it's ultra wide bandwidth of 0Hz - 23.4kHz,
-3db down at 48%
Nyquist!
So clean, that NPR and The National Symphony Orchestra prefer it to edit
and master their classical
music!
MicroSound was the first computer DAW, and it's still the best sounding!
MicroEditor software features
incredible recording tools, with superior editing capabilities, like instant
mixing and fades.
