Kirk Kupenky is a virtuoso
harpist who's credits are
substantial, and who's
musicianship is utterly divine!
Boggess engineered this album
using a mic & mixing scheme
that was unique, but natural.

engineer responsible for this
work, and as with his other
undertakings, his meticulous
attention to detail is the icing
on the cake! Gary chose to
leave the fundamentals of the
instrument largely untouched,
adding QSound primarily to the
reflections and harmonics of

lusciousss and rich harp texture,
which excites the room
and listener both."

Gary Grimes
"Starhand Visions" - LP
Direct Disk Labs 1982 &
Re-released Summer 2002
Vocalist Gary Grimes produced
this concept rock album using
notable musicians from NE Ohio.
Gary Grimes' vocals are as rock
solid as is his songwriting skills.

Gary Boggess produced &
recorded the opening synth cuts,
"Firefleet" & "Arrival Theme."
Boggess' synth orchestra work
was also featured on ballad,
"Because Of You." Boggess plays
keyboards on several other cuts.

The balance of the album was
recorded at Peppermint
Productions in Youngstown, Ohio,
Engineered by Gary Rhamy.
There's some great music
on this album, and lots of guitars.

This album serves as a testament
to the talent and maturity of the
musicians in the Warren -
Youngstown area, and in
N.E. Ohio in general.

Darryl Alexander
"17th Street" - CD
Presteige Records LTD
1994 & 1997
Darryl recorded this jazz project
at Boggess Music & Sound.
MIDI percussions & instruments
were imported via Alesis MMT-8
w/ PPS-1 sync to Otari 4-track.
This CD features some great
sax solos by Cleveland Ohio's
Mark Early and Warren Ohio's
Dave Kana.

The overall sound of the project
is of urban jazz. The music on
the two CD's produced at BMS
has been played in movies and
as bumper music. Prestige is
marketing the music in Europe.

Gary Boggess played all piano
& synth solos. Boggess' piano
and solo work on the title track,
"17th Street" is a trademark
Boggess performance.
Boggess also engineered,
mixed  & mastered the entire
CD project.

Darryl recorded this jazz project
at Boggess Music & Sound.

This CD has great sax work...
of special note, the solo by
Vince Andrews on the title
track, "Coast To Coast."
Boggess played piano & synth
solos and engineered the project
using BASE 3-D surround
imaging on the mix.

Tony Palkovic

Deep Water Record 1980
Tony is a jazz guitarist
who pushes the limits.
His fusion styled compositions
were intelligent and stylized.
Gary Boggess plays
Fender Rhodes and Minimoog
synth on (2) cuts;
"Alchemy & Dreams from
the Doldrums" and
"Reticent Babbler." The project
was ambitious and challenging.

Tony Favazzo
"Minus Tide" - LP
AJF Records 1979
This jazz album was one of the
first albums Boggess engineered.
Recorded at Marjon Studios
in Sharon, PA., this project
features Tony's soaring guitar riffs
which are supported by the
inspired cohesion of the band.
Bassist Greg Yochman sails
amidst the waves of rhythmic
bliss created by keyboardist
Dennis Augusta
and percussionist Bob Jones.
The album is a true milestone,
and sustains great album status.

Ruth Pizarro
"Emaus" - CD
RP Music 2007
This CD was a collaboration
between Ruth Pizarro & Gary
Boggess. Ruth is a very gifted
songwriter and vocalist. Her
latin melodies inspired Boggess
to produce some of the best
latin-jazz arrangements in his
career. As producer & composer,
Boggess performed all of the
CD's music, with exception to
guitar, which was played by
virtuoso guitarist Rick Pupello.
Rick's solo performances, with
Boggess' keyboard solos,
makes his album of
songs & contemporary latin-jazz
music a must have CD!

Carol Hensel
"Excercise & Dance Vol-2" - LP
Polydor 1981
This album was one of the first
"excercise to the hits" type
productions ever. Produced by
Roger Hatfield, a previous
member of I Don't Care (above).
Roger hired the killer rhythm
section of I Don't Care to
recreate hits like: "Celebration,"
"Sailing," "Whip It," "9 to 5,
"(Just Like) Starting Over," and
other top charting songs.
This album sold millions!

Linda Fratianne dominated
international figure skating
as a major competitor and a
popular performer. Produced by
Roger Hatfield. As in the
Carol Hensel project, Roger
hired core I Don't Care
members to recreate hits,
nicknaming us: The Beachwood
Allstars! Hits include
"Slow Hand," "Bette Davis Eyes,"
"Kiss Is On My Lips"
and more.

Lilias Folan
"Rest, Relax & Sleep"
- Double LP
ERA Records 1984
Lilias Folan is a mainstay
on PBS television, hosting
& teaching yoga excercises
& routines. This project
features four 20 minute
compositions by Gary Boggess,
best described as musical
scapes. Each work was
created using Boggess'
Polyfusion Synthesizer.
Three of the works were
spawned out of an pre-existing
musical work titled: "Heaven,"
inspired by minimalist electronic
works of the late 1960's.

I Don't Care
"Ask Anyone" - LP
Buddah Records 1976
IDC was a 7 piece band
that Gary co-formed as a
vehical for his early music.
The band was diverse,
playing rock & jazz fusion.
Boggess was the keyboardist
and major contributing writer
in the band. The band played
for four years, frequently at
the Agora Clubs in Cleveland,
Columbus & Toledo. They
often shared the stage
with numerous national
rock acts.

Watchdog & Gatekeeper

Royal C-Town, Inc. 1998
This album is rap Cleveland
style. The project features
rap artists; Janie & Tim Oliver,
with a little help from rap friends
of Bones Thugs & Harmony.
The music "beats" were produced
by Gary Boggess and Tim.
The dense vocal articulations
were enhanced by the editorial
capabilities of Boggess'
MicroSound digital audio
workstation. Reviewed by
Murder Dog Magazine, this CD
exemplifies the rap genre...
and perhaps sets a few
new challenges.

Tuesday Conspiracy

Tuesday Conspiracy is an original
modern rock band hailing from
Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Their style is diverse with a hard
rock edge. Tuesday Conspiracy's
live show is full of high-octane
energy with no shortage of female
angst from singer, Mary Farmer.

BMS mastered
this CD, which played
on MTV's "Road Rules" program.
The band is gaining in momentum.
